Sharing a peek into the sunshine and sessions that happened at the 2021 FOG Software User Conference.

With a year of masks and cancelled events in the rear-view, ProShip was excited to safely gather with partners and customers at the FOG Software User group in Orlando, Florida this past week. The event featured ProShip and 10 of our sister companies in a can’t miss showcase that only happens once every 2 years.

Sunday evening kicked off with a reception and welcome cocktail party where customers and partners were able to network with colleagues and industry experts alike. Monday morning featured opening notes from Andy Hodge, the Portfolio Manager at FOG Software Group and keynote speaker, Greg Schwem, a motivational comedian who entertained and delighted attendees with corporate comedy.

ProShip launched our session track with a Product Roadmap from President, Bill Schroeder, and Director of Research and Development, Jeff Lukaszewski. This session educated attendees with the history of ProShip and a deep dive into the product – ProShip’s elite multi-carrier shipping software. Speakers then gave the audience an exclusive look into what the future will bring for ProShip and what partners will help ProShip achieve its goals.

Other notable sessions include a breakdown of omnichannel fulfillment with ProShip Co-Founder, Justin Cramer, as well as an exploration of carrier diversification strategies with Justin and Mark Taylor, the Director of Parcel Consulting at enVista. Justin was later joined by ProShip Director of Enterprise Sales, Tony Verrill, to rally attendees with proven methods for approaching this peak shipping season.

Finally, ProShip customers met and mingled with executives and fellow customers at a private happy hour event to network, get advice and cheers to a busy upcoming peak season.

Later that evening, all Converge participants were able to enjoy live music and great food at Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville restaurant in Universal Orlando’s exciting CityWalk area.

On Tuesday, ProShip sessions included information about shipping label modifications, Advanced Rate Shopping (ARS), and ProShip’s exceptional Service & Support experience. Later in the day, attendees learned about navigating a positive returns experience and anything and everything related to FedEx. Michael Falls, the Director of Global Strategic Solutions at enVista, explored parcel Business Intelligence (BI) and Rick Hernandez, Commercial Innovation Leader and Vice President of Global Business Development at Pitney Bowes, gave attendees a high-level look at their USPS commerce services. Rounding out the day, attendees heard from AirTerra and FedEx Cross Border before closing the day with a technical deep dive of when to Rate Shop and when to ADS.

On the final day of Converge, attendees were able to take a closer look at the partnerships and marketing opportunities that have promoted success for ProShip in the past and what is on the horizon. Clint Boaz, ProShip Senior Sales Engineer, was joined by Jeff Lukaszewski to explore “why UPS?” and learn more about carrier services and any new features. Justin Cramer provided a specialized preview of the Carrier Volume Balancing process and tips for preventing quota and capacity violations. The ProShip track closed with a Q&A session where attendees discussed parcel and industry topics directly with ProShip shipping experts.

With access to exhibits from partners and other FOG Software Group companies daily, attendees had ample opportunity to connect with industry peers as well as expand their supply chain knowledge.

Special thanks to all the ProShip customers and partners that not only attended but sponsored this educational yet exciting event. Thanks for CONVERGING with us in sunny Florida!
